Q1. How do I use this service?
A. Using this service is really simple, click on a left hand navigation item (such as the 'Bond code search'), when you click on an item it will download into your screen. Simply follow the instructions above the main box and then hit 'go'. Your results will then render in front of you.

Q2. How many bond codes (ISINs) can I lookup for FREE?
A. Non professionals investors can look up as many securities as they require, they currently have unlimited usage.

Q3. Who can use this service?
A. The following people can use this service: Non professional investors, academics, researchers and members of the press. Buyside represenatives should use our buyside information service XBIS, click here to access it. The following people are not permitted to use this service, representatives of any firm that sells financial services information, representative of any data vendor, aggregator or reseller, a representative of the sell side, a representative of any competitor to Xtrakter.

Q4. Who provides this data?
A. The service is provided by Xtrakter Ltd, Xtrakter is a market utility and the information used for this service is based on data derived from TRAX. TRAX is the premier OTC trade matching, regulatory reporting and information services system operating in the capital markets, for more information about TRAX click here.

Q5. Is the information contained in this service sufficient to allow me to make an informed investment decision?
A. Please see our terms and conditions for additional clarity on this matter, Xtrakter accepts no liability for investment decisions that you make based on the information listed on this site. This service is designed to help you and your investment advisor make a more informed decision about the fixed income products that are covered by the service.  If you are a non professional (retail) investor we strongly advise you to visit www.bondmarketprices.com and discuss any investment decisions with an indenpent financial adviser (IFA).

Q6. What bond (fixed income) products are covered by the service?
A. The service covers all asset classes / instruments that Xtrakter processes on a daily basis, currently the service does not offer information about US / Canadian listed securities.

Q7. Will there be additional upgrades to the service?
A. Yes, we will be offering additional FREE services to non professional (retail) investors in the near future; you are strongly advised to register for these services. Registration is FREE and only registered website users will be offered the additional free services.

Q9. Why do some codes (ISINs) not appear on the site?
A. There are a number of responses to this question; a) if you are trying to view a US registered code (ISIN) / security description on the site it will not appear! b) The security may have expired c) the security may not be in Xtrakters data warehouse.

Q10. Why can I not screen scrape the data from the site?
A. Xtrakter does not permit screen scraping of information from the FREE non registered service, if you are a non registered user you are not permitted to screen scrape the data.

Q11. Why is there a variable delay on the code search (ISIN lookup)?
A. In order to prevent spamming of the site and to ensure individual users can access the database, a variable delay has been added to the code & bond description lookup and traded price sections.

Q12. How can I track my portfolio of securities using Xtrakter data?
A. Only subscribers to Xtrakters paid information services have the ability to track their portfolios automatically by using its range of on demand services.
