Venues of execution league table

The venues of execution league table is based on data processed by Xtrakter's OTC trade matching and regulatory reporting system TRAX.

The league covers:

execution venues for equities
execution venues for fixed income products
internationally traded products
trades conducted by TRAX subscribers
trades conducted by market participants who use Xtrakters regulatory reporting service

Xtrakter processes approximately 1.5 million transactions on a daily basis. We have 200 clients based globally who use our services, the majority of our clients trade or report to Xtrakter via their London based companies / subsidiaries. This does include subsidiaries of American financial corporations.

The league does not cover trades:

conducted on the London Stock Exchange that require reporting to the Financial Services Authority of the UK
American domestic market transactions
European domestic market transactions
trades that have been conducted via private placement
trades reported by systematic internalisers (under MiFID)
venues that do not have Market Identifier Codes (MICs)
