Q1. How do I use this service?
A. Using this service is really simple, click on a left hand navigation item (such as the 'ISIN lookup'), when you click on an item it will download into your screen. Simply follow the instructions above the main box and then hit 'go'. Your results will then render in front of you.
Q2. How many ISINs can I lookup for FREE?
A. Buyside and financial services professionals who undertake buyside activities can look up as many ISINs/securities as they require, they currently have unlimited usage.
Q3. Who can use this service?
A. The following people can use this service: fund managers, asset managers, pension managers, trust fund managers, hedge fund managers & other buyside professionals. The following people are not permitted to use this service: Sell-side representatives, data vendors, representatives of firms who re-sell financial data, representatives of firms who sell software (software vendors), and employees of Xtrakter competitors.
Q4. Who provides this data?
A. The service is provided by Xtrakter Ltd, Xtrakter is a market utility and the information used for this service is based on data derived from TRAX. TRAX is the premier OTC trade matching, regulatory reporting and information services system operating in the capital markets, for more information about TRAX click here.
Q5. Is the information contained in this service sufficient to allow me to make an informed investment decision?

This service is designed to help you and your investment advisor make a more informed decision about the fixed income products that are covered by the service. Q6. What fixed income products are covered by the service?
A. The service covers all asset classes / instruments that Xtrakter processes on a daily basis. Currently the service does not offer information about US listed securities.
Q7. Will there be additional upgrades to the service?
A. Yes, we will be offering additional FREE services to buyside professionals in the near future; you are strongly advised to register for these services. Registration is FREE and only registered website users will be offered the additional free services.

Q9. Why do some ISINs not appear on the site?
A. There are a number of responses to this question; a) if you are trying to view a US registered ISIN / security description on the site it will not appear! b) The security may have expired c) the security may not be in Xtrakters data warehouse.
Q10. Why can I not screen scrape the data from the site?
A. Xtrakter does not permit screen scraping of information from the FREE non registered service, if you are a non registered user you are not permitted to screen scrape the data.
Q11. Why is there a variable delay on the ISIN lookup?
A. In order to prevent spamming of the site and to ensure individual users can access the database, a variable delay has been added to the ISIN lookup, security description lookup and traded price sections.
Q12. How can I track my portfolio of securities using Xtrakter data?
A. Only subscribers to Xtrakters paid information services have the ability to track their portfolios automatically by using its range of on demand services.
